PSALMS # 1 IN RHYME


That man has perfect blessedness, Who does not walk astray
In counsel of ungodly men, Nor stands in sinners' way,
Nor does he sit in the scorner's chair: But places his delight
Upon God's law, and meditates Upon it day and night.
He shall be like a tree that grows Planted near a river,
Which in his season yields his fruit, His leaf withers never:
And all he does shall prosper well The wicked are not so;
But they are all like the chaff, The wind drives to and fro.
In judgment therefore shall not stand such as ungodly are;
Nor in th' assembly of the just shall wicked men appear.
For why? The way of godly men unto the Lord is known:
Whereas the way of wicked men shall all be overthrown.

It's a lovely day to praise the Lord
For a day that's fresh and new,
That's filled with nature's beauty,
Created just for you.

It's a lovely day to look, to see,
The flowers, the trees, the birds,
The music of their voices rings,
None sweeter can be heard.

It's a lovely day to thank the Lord,
As all around we see
The vastness of blue skies above,
and feel the summer breeze.

It's a lovely day to think of how
He cares for us each day.
As we journey in this life,
He's there to lead the way.



Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."


I OWE HIM

I owe so much, to God above;
I owe for His undying love,
It's Him I owe, for the air that I breathe,
And, for His comfort, when I grieve.

I owe Him for, the blessings;
He bestows on me, each day,
And, all of His forgiveness,
That, I ask for when I pray.

I owe Him for His mercy;
And for," His Saving Grace."
I owe Him for, His loving ways;
No one, can take His place.

To Him, I owe the clear, blue skies;
I even owe Him for the rain
But, when I add it all up, how much I really owe;
Well, it comes to "Everything."

There's no debt consolidation plan,
For His greatest sacrifice,
It's the price, that His Son Jesus, paid;
For "My Eternal Life."
